Functional Mixing for Plastics Industry

Plough Shear Mixer with a mean Froude Number
Plough Shear Mixer shovels rotate in a mechanical fluidization movement along the horizontal shaft inside cylinder drum. The hurling and whirling process is highly suitable for mixing process with heat-sensitive, fragile, viscous and bad flowing products. For some special applications, separately driven, high speed chopper is necessary for plastics industry. Plow Mixer is widely used in plastics product which could have homogenous mixing effect in shortest time. High Speed chopper can also break some blocks during mixing.
Mixing and Cooling
For some product, the customer needs cooling system to cool down the temperature of product and for some heat sensitive product. Both Plough Share Mixer and Ribbon Mixer can make cooling jacket with circulated cooling water to keep temperature of product in cylinder drum. The size, number, angle of adjustment, geometric shape and peripheral speed of the cooling elements are optimized to ensure maximum contact of the particles in the circular plain with the container wall without inter-particle friction.
Paste Mixing
Some plastics product is special one with viscous paste features. It have highly requirement on mixing shovel and drive unit of plough share mixer to have strong enough during mixing. Some customers use two speed motor (fast and low speed) for drive unit according to their need in process. The shovel plow bolted on the shaft to adjust clearance between wall and shovel.
